My desire to show people that there was still good in the world was burning brightly. As the war and gas crisis in Europe was heating up, I decided to go see how everyone was affected first hand.
Backpacking Spain with friends has become my favorite memory. The days were filled with biking, eating, hiking and partying. I had almost completely forgotten about the war when the World Cup started. The passion of Barcelona exploded after each game. It seemed like no matter the struggles, everyone was coming together to enjoy themselves!
I will definitely be returning!
